I had heard from my Daughter Sydney many great things about McLeod's Coffee House specific to the business placing a focus on helping and employing people with Special Needs and I had to check it out. For a coffee shop to make it I believe a shop has to have more than just a great cup of coffee. When we arrived I loved the Sculptures that were greeting us outside and the giant Carousel in the window. Little did I know but this was just a teaser to all of the interesting items that were located inside. We hadn't even tried the coffee yet and I already realized this was a special place. So now we tried the coffee and although not surprised I was happy that the coffee was also very good. I ordered a Vanilla Latte and my wife ordered the Autumn Harvest and both were prepared perfectly! There are some food options as well although we didn't eat anything during this visit. When we sat down to enjoy and wander the shop and all of it's wonders the Owner sat down with us and truly made us feel at home. This place is a big win and I challenge you to check it out yourself!

Super fun non-profit coffee shop. Chai had a lot of nutmeg we think it was? So just be aware of that. But my mocha was very good! Staff is super friendly and just a cool place to hang out for a bit.

My car was in the shop right down from McLeods so I decided to stop in and check it out. I’m so glad I did! The best part was meeting the folks working here; “Grandpa” Jeremy is a gem. He took the time to explain how they hire those with special needs. Everyone was so kind and welcoming. I will definitely be back! 💚💚💚

My first time visiting this wonderful coffee house and I will definitely come back! Love the style and the many different sitting areas. The barista was very attentive and made my coffee just right. They sell donuts and pastries from Donut Days and they feature lots of cool furniture and art you can buy right out of the store.

If you are looking for the perfect eclectic, artsy coffeehouse vibe look no further! I saw this place on Tik Tok and decided to stop by on my trip to Lexington. It was absolutely wonderful service and my sister and I were immediately greeted the staff were so friendly and helpful. I had the banana bread chai with a quad espresso and my sister had the peppermint hot chocolate. Both were absolutely delicious. I love the cause they support. If I lived in Lexington. I would come here everyday. Definitely make this a coffee stop in Lexington:)

Really great place with really friendly staff! Good food at affordable prices, and clean. There is a small thrift shop as you walk in, and the coffee and food are in the back. The food is made fresh, and service is quick and friendly. Highly recommended!! Thank you!

I went to this shop with a friend and I’ve found my new favorite coffee shop in Lexington. The employees, patrons, and atmosphere were all so welcoming and I enjoyed the chats I had. The coffee was also very good with many options and much more affordable than going to a coffee chain. There was tons of local artwork for sale and adorable mismatched furniture. I highly recommend this place! For anyone who does not know this shop is a non-profit that employs adults with disabilities and donates to many causes that support minorities, so your money is going to a good cause!

Today is the first time for me to come to this place. I was only stopby to try a new coffee shop. I don't know this is a nonprofit organization helping people and actually a community center, which is wonderful! Back the to coffee, I'm a home barista pull my own espresso and make latte art everyday and I like the latte from this coffee house very much. It's great. To my surprise, the price is lower than the main coffee chains. With this quality, I have to buy a bag of whole beans they use for their espresso. I'm very happy to find this gem in Lexington. This place, people here, the coffee itself, they make my day.

February 22, 2025 My husband and I stopped by for coffee but were pleasantly surprised by the variety of food options available. We decided to try the biscuits and gravy, which were not only delicious but also incredibly affordable. The coffee shop has a unique and eclectic charm, with its diverse decorations and cozy atmosphere. I especially loved the faith-based music playing in the background and seeing Bible study groups gathered here. The service was quick and friendly, adding to the overall welcoming vibe. It’s also wonderful that this establishment provides job opportunities for individuals with disabilities—a truly special place we’d love to visit again!
